Ingredients
3 Cups Shredded Roasted Chicken
3 Cups of Rice, cooked
10.5 oz (1 Can) Cream of Chicken Soup
8 oz. Cream Cheese
0.7 Oz. Italian Dressing Seasoning
1/8 Tsp. Garlic Powder
1 Cup Chicken Stock
1/16 Tsp. Pepper
2 Cups Colby Jack, shredded
1 Cup Panko Bread Crumbs
4 Tbsp. Butter, sliced into small pieces
Parsley, for garnish
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F
- Prepare the rice according to the package instructions. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, prepared rice, cream of chicken soup, colby jack cheese, room temperature cream cheese, Italian dressing seasoning mix, garlic powder, and chicken stock. Stir until everything is well combined and creamy.
- Spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray, then pour the chicken and rice mixture evenly into the dish.
- Top the casserole with 1 cup of Panko bread crumbs.
- Place the small pieces of butter on the top, evenly distributing the slices across the casserole.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
