Harvested from our Alexander Mountain estate and nearby properties, the 2006 vintage of our Jackson Estates Grown Grand Reserve Cabernet is deep ruby in color portending a delight for your senses. Careful vineyard management on our mountain and hillside estates produced intense, concentrated grapes. Cold soaking gave the wine additional complexity. This Cabernet has cassis, currant and black cherry tones with enticing aromas of mocha, nutmeg and cinnamon that are the effects of 14 months of barrel aging with 31% new French oak. - Jess S.
