Taylor Farms Broccoli Slaw - 12 Ounce, $1.99
Broccoli slaw is one of those versatile vegetable blends where freshness and crunch shine through in every bite. Made with shredded broccoli stalks, shredded red cabbage, and shredded carrots, this is a great base for a nutritious meal or side dish. Whether you’re mixing up a batch of traditional broccoli slaw, making a crunchy add-on for tacos, or divining your own proprietary salad blend, start here. Wondering how to prepare Broccoli Slaw? Try mixing in your favorite ingredients like dried cranberries or currants, cauliflower florets, edamame, and chickpeas. Then top with a coleslaw dressing or a tangy vinaigrette. What’s great about this blend is that you can prepare your dish beforehand and it won’t wilt or turn soggy before you eat it. You can even let it rest at room temperature for a little while and the experience won’t be diminished at all. A bit about broccoli stalks or broccoli stems: Did you know that they’re just as nutritious as the florets at the tip? Broccoli stalks contain vitamins B1, B2, iron, magnesium, zinc, potassium, and fiber. So eat up and enjoy!
