Carne Asada Nachos

Ingredients
1 bag tortilla chips
1 lb carne asada steak
2 cups shredded cheese blend
1 cup pico de gallo
1 avocado, diced or sliced
1 jalapeño, sliced
½ cup sour cream
¼ cup chopped cilantro
Lime wedges, for serving
Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet or oven-safe skillet with parchment paper if desired.
- Season and cook the carne asada steak in a skillet or on a grill over medium-high heat until cooked to your preferred doneness. Let rest for a few minutes, then slice into bite-sized pieces.
- Spread tortilla chips evenly onto the prepared baking sheet or skillet.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the chips, followed by the cooked carne asada. Top with the remaining cheese.
- Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and top with pico de gallo, avocado, jalapeños, sour cream, cilantro, and any additional toppings desired.
- Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
