Store Manager

Job description:

This position reports to the District Manager and is responsible for managing daily operations in assigned store ensuring company standards and store financial objectives are met.

Minimum requirements:

Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 60 pounds, a minimum of three years experience in a supervisory retail position with accountability for store operation, including a basic understanding of marketing, finance and human resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Retail Management Certificate is desirable.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages, coaches and evaluates store associate's performance, and ensures compliance with government policies and regulations.

  • Ensures timely and professional customer service, establishes and adjusts work schedules, and ensures payroll objectives and staffing needs are met.

  • Manages inventory control, ensures proper merchandise presentation and proper maintenance of the store, and plans of store operations objectives.

  • Conducts daily a.m. Smart Walk and p.m. Final walk to assess store conditions.
