Smart & Final is committed to the health of our communities, and we are working diligently to make sure your shopping experience with us is a comfortable and safe one.
You will notice floor decals to serve as indicators for customers as to where they should stand while waiting, while maintaining the best experience possible. Yes, while we have returned to traditional queues at each register, we still have floor decals to serve as indicators for customers as to where they should stand while waiting.
We are conducting cleanings at the top of every hour, adhering to a thorough cleaning protocol with a focus on checkstands, pin-pads and other high-frequency touchpoints.
For Our Associates
All Smart & Final associates have been provided face coverings and are required to wear them for the entirety of their shift, even if they have been vaccinated. To provide added protection for both associates and customers, we have installed two 36-inch plexiglass shields at registers in all our stores.
All Smart & Final associates have also been provided gloves to wear and thermometers to use prior to reporting to work.
Smart & Final is paying two hours of paid time off for every associate who is fully vaccinated.
For Our Customers
Face coverings are required for all customers inside Smart & Final stores, even if you have been vaccinated.
Please do not enter if you have a fever, cough or flu-like symptoms.
We ask that our customers join us in following CDC guidelines for social distancing while in our stores and parking lots, by keeping six feet between themselves, any other shoppers and our store associates.
