Pecan Pie Brownies

Fudgy brownies with a pecan pie topping, these are decadence at its finest.

For the Brownies

2 tbsp Ambiance Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate

1 tbsp water

2 large First Street eggs

1/2 cup First Street 100% Pure Canola Oil

3 3/4 cups First Street Brownie Mix

For the Pecan Pie Topping

4 tbsp First Street unsalted butter, melted

3/4 cup First Street Golden Brown Sugar

1/3 cup Sun Harvest Organic Pure Maple Syrup

2 large First Street eggs

1 tsp First Street Pure Vanilla Extract

1/4 tsp First Street salt

3 cups First Street Pecan Halves

Directions

Preheat the oven to 325ºF. Grease a quarter-sheet pan or a 9x13-inch baking dish and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cold brew, water, eggs and oil. Add the brownie mix and use a rubber spatula to mix until the batter is smooth. Pour the brownie batter into the tart pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25 minutes, then remove the brownies from the oven. Increase the oven temperature to 350ºF.

Meanwhile, to make the pecan pie topping, in a mixing bowl combine the melted butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, eggs, vanilla and salt. Whisk to combine well. Add the pecans and stir to coat.

Top the baked brownies with the pecan pie topping and spread evenly. Return the brownies to the oven and bake for 20 minutes more, or until the pecan pie topping is seta and golden. Let cool completely before cutting.
