Lentil Pea Soup Gift Jar
1/2 cup First Street split peas
1 cup uncooked First Street Rice
1/2 cup dry red lentils
2 tbs. First Street Chopped Onion (dried)
2 tbs. First Street Parsley Flakes (dried)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. First Street Garlic Salt
1/2 tsp. Tradewinds Ground Black Pepper
1/2 tsp. Tradewinds Ground Cumin
1/2 tsp. chili flakes (optional)
2 tbs. Knorr chicken or beef bouillon
1 1/2 cup uncooked First Street Macaroni
In a wide mouth 1-quart jar, layer the peas, rice and lentils. Then layer around the edges the onion, parsley, salt, pepper, bouillon and the pasta.

Instructions to accompany the jar
Fresh ingredients to add to your recipe:
1 cup chopped carrots
1 cup of shredded cabbage
3 sticks of chopped celery
2 cups diced tomatoes
Add ingredients from jar to pot with 3 quarts of water. Add: 1 cup chopped carrots, 1 cup of shredded cabbage and 2 cups diced tomatoes and 3 stalks of celery sliced (fresh ingredients optional). Over medium low heat, cover and simmer about 1 hour, or until vegetables are tender.
