What is the difference between Instacart.com and Shop.SmartandFinal.com?

With Instacart.com, you can shop from several local retailers, not just Smart & Final. You can compare prices between different retailers. With Shop.SmartandFinal.com, you see only Smart & Final products.

How does Instacart work?
How much is delivery?

1-hour delivery is $7.99 / 2- hour delivery is $5.99 / 1-year subscription is $149. Surge pricing will increase delivery fees during peak delivery hours. See Instacart’s Pricing and Charges Overview.

What is the minimum purchase for delivery?

What is Instacart’s service fee?

The Service Fee is used to provide customer support and recognize the efforts of the whole team for providing you with great service! It is a small percentage based on the initial dollar fee of your order.

Who is doing the shopping?

Instacart Personal Shoppers fulfill your orders from the store you've chosen. Your Personal Shopper will pick your produce, carefully select all your items, and handle any items that are out of stock.

Can I add special instructions for my order?

Yes, you can Add Instructions for Items for your Personal Shopper or Delivery Instructions for your Delivery Driver.

Is it possible to chat with my Personal Shopper?

What if an item is not available on your site?

If you’re looking for an item that is not in our inventory, you can make a Special Request !

Delivery and pick-up service is available in select cities in CA, NV, and AZ. You can check availability with your zip code at https://shop.smartandfinal.com .

How is Smart & Final priced online vs. in-store?

Smart & Final offers same pricing as in store, including weekly sale pricing. Unfortunately, we are not able to honor in-store offers like “Buy More, Save More” and other similar offers.

What types of payment are accepted?

Will I receive a physical receipt?

Yes, you can Share Your Shopping Cart with family, friends, and co-workers.

What is an Express Membership from Instacart?

Instacart Express gives the customer unlimited free delivery on all orders over $35!
