Hot Fudge Sundae Cake
1 cup First Street All Purpose Flour
3/4 cup First Street Granulated sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup First Street Whole Milk
2 tablespoons First Street Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil
1 teaspoon First Street Vanilla
1 cup First Street Brown Sugar (packed)
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 3/4 cups hottest tap water
Preheat the oven to 350°F. 8x8 inch ungreased pan required.
In medium bowl stir together flour, granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt. Mix in milk, oil and vanilla with fork until smooth. Stir in nuts. Spread evenly into ungreased 9x9x2 inch pan.
Lightly mix brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa and sprinkle over batter. Pour hot water over batter.
Bake 40 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes. Cut into squares & spoon into dessert dishes, inverting each square. Top with ice cream and spoon sauce over each serving.
