Easy Orange Marmalade Gift Jar
Ingredients:
5 pounds ripe oranges
4 cups water
6 cups sugar
3 Kerr® pint jars (narrow or wide mouth) with sealable lids

Directions:
Wash and dry the oranges, cut the ends off them and then quarter and chop them.
Combine fruit mixture and sugar in a Dutch oven (or a large pot); bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 1 1/2 hours or until a candy thermometer registers 215°.
Also bring a small pot of water with the flat lids in it to a boil and leave it just boiling.
Pack hot marmalade into each hot sterilized jar one at a time, filling it to 1/4" from the top of the jar. Remove air bubbles; wipe jar rims. Cover at once with a metal lid, and screw on the band part of the lid.
Wrap jar with a ribbon and add the gift tag. Here is a tag created by the Smart & Final graphic designers that you can use.
Makes 3 pint sized jars of marmalade.
