Supply Chain Supervisor-in-Training

Job Description:

This position reports to the Operations Manager and is required to complete a fifty-two week training program that upon successful completion will lead to a position as a Warehouse Supervisor, Transportation Supervisor, or Replenishment Buyer. Successful completion includes 12-16 former progress assessments and a final evaluation by the Supply Chain Management Teams.

Minimum requirements:

Applicants must have a BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Prior experience in Supply Chain Operations, Purchasing/Buying or Retail/Wholesale is desirable.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Actively participate in the on-the-job, classroom, and E.I.T. Handbook training
• Complete a series of written and verbal assignments as part of the E.I.T. Handbook
• Assist Transportation Supervisors with their duties, or actively perform same (see Transportation Supervisor job description for details).
• Assist Replenishment Buyers with their duties, or actively perform same (see Replenishment Buyer job description for details).

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Office, Power Point, Word
• Goal driven with demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Experience with conflict resolution and associate relations
• Excellent oral, written, analytical and presentation skills
• High attention to detail and flow through skills
• Possesses intellectual curiosity to constantly process and performance improvements
