Maintenance - Commerce Distribution Center

Mechanic

Job Description:

This position reports to the Facility Maintenance Manager and is responsible to perform routine maintenance on all distribution center equipment and some building maintenance.

Minimum requirements:

Candidates must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training with Crown, Yale and Barrett; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Performs all general repairs on forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Completes all necessary paperwork related to repairs, such as repair requisitions and safety checklists.

Skills:

• Must be able to operate hand tools, power tools and a welder according to operating and safety instructions. Must provide own tools.
